Painting and facades

Exterior paint, masonry, and facade crews choose between an articulating boom and a frame scaffold. The choice is about how long the wall is, not about which brochure looks faster.

Boom or frames

A short storefront that will be painted for a day is often a boom. A long elevation that a crew will stand at for a week is often frame scaffold, because the whole wall stays reachable and the painter is not waiting on a basket. If pedestrians use the sidewalk, the scaffold scope has to include that, and the boom has to have a place to sit that does not block the lane.

Wind, overhead power, and the surface you are painting all belong in the notes. We will not promise a same-day truck. Ask for the date you need and the yard will say whether a machine is free.

We did not find a sourced published rate for this category in the 22 October 2026 research. The rental company sets the price.
