Huntsville
Huntsville is the center of this desk: warehouses, plants, hospitals, and jobsite work that needs a scissor, a boom, a telehandler, or scaffold from a local yard.
What the recent construction record shows
AL.com reported permit volume through the third quarter of 2026 of $458.1 million in the city of Huntsville and $583.9 million in Madison County. With the city of Madison, the same report put the three-area total at $1.17 billion. For 2025, AL.com reported more than $2.3 billion across three counties, of which Huntsville was $1.1 billion.
The same 22 October 2026 research noted a Huntsville Hospital tower project of $150 million from 2025, an SPX HVAC and data-center equipment plant described as a $118.8 million, 460,000 square foot renovation at 7700 Gunters Way, and the Huntsville Logistics Center as a $48 million building within a phased development of more than $200 million.
L3Harris expansions recorded in that research include AMF-South at about 130,000 square feet and $25 million, dated 1 June 2026, and about 670,000 square feet across three Huntsville sites. The research also notes that Huntsville’s role in that rocket-motor work is inert components, and that the large motor work is in Camden, Arkansas.
Who this desk is for
Those projects tell you the market is busy. They do not mean a referral form is how a national general contractor will buy its master rental agreement. The realistic requests are from painters, electricians, HVAC crews, sign companies, rack installers, and facility teams who need a machine next week.
Send the jobsite ZIP. Huntsville ZIPs we treat as in area for automatic routing include 35801, 35802, 35803, 35805, 35806, 35810, 35811, and 35816. If your ZIP is missing and the job is still in town, send it anyway. A person can release a held lead.
