FAQ

Straight answers

Do you own the lifts and the scaffolding?

No. Huntsville Lift Rental is a referral service. We send your request to independent local rental companies. They own or control the equipment, they employ the drivers, and they set the price.

Who do I pay?

You pay the rental company for the machine, the delivery, and any damage waiver or insurance they require. You do not pay us. Rental companies pay us a referral fee if they agree to. That fee is not added as a line on your rental contract by us, because we are not the company renting you the machine.

What does a scissor lift cost in Huntsville?

We do not set prices. A BigRentz aggregator snippet for Huntsville scissor lifts, observed 22 October 2026, showed $210.00 a day, $533.00 a week, and $1,092.00 a month. That is not a quote from a local yard. Height, power source, and delivery change the number.

What does a 60 ft articulating boom cost?

We did not find a sourced Huntsville yard price for this class. National pages accessed 22 October 2026 included Getable at $466.00 a day, $1,127.00 a week, and $2,744.00 a month, with other publishers higher on a 4-week basis. A Texas band for 60–80 ft articulating booms was $625.00–$1,220.00 a day. Those are not local quotes. The articulating boom page lists each source.

What does frame scaffolding cost?

Robin Rents published $11.90–$12.90 per frame-day, accessed 22 October 2026. A frame-day is not a complete scaffold. Braces, planks, delivery, and any erect crew are separate. We did not find sourced published rates for Baker, system, or stair-tower scaffold in that research.

How do I choose a height?

Tell us the height you need to reach. A common shortcut is platform height plus about 6 feet, but the data plate on the machine governs. If you need to reach up and over an obstacle, ask for an articulating boom. If the path is open, a telescopic boom may fit. If you can drive to the spot and go straight up on a slab, a scissor is usually enough.

Do I need a certified operator?

Someone trained for that machine has to run it. ANSI/SAIA A92.24 is the industry training standard for mobile elevating work platforms. OSHA’s aerial-lift rules are separate and still apply. We do not train or certify operators. If you will hire an operator, say so on the form.

Which cities do you cover?

Huntsville, Madison, Athens and Limestone County, Harvest, Decatur, and the Redstone and Cummings Research Park area. The rental company decides whether they will deliver to your ZIP and what that delivery costs. Jobsite ZIPs we do not recognize are held for a person to review instead of being sent out automatically.

How fast will someone call?

Qualified requests are forwarded when they arrive during the hours we are watching the desk. The rental company calls you with availability. We do not promise a 15-minute callback to customers. A response time like that is a term we would put in a partner agreement, and no agreement is in force yet.

What if I am a homeowner and I only need it for a day?

You can still submit the form. One-day homeowner jobs and requests with no company name are a weak match for the commercial yards we route to, so we hold them for review instead of sending them out as billable leads. A trade working on a house should put the company name on the request.

Can you erect the scaffold?

No. If you need a crew to build and dismantle scaffold, say that in the request and we refer it to a company that offers installation. We do not employ erectors and we do not supervise the build.
