Towable and spider lifts

Some jobs never see a full-size boom. A towable lift comes behind a pickup. A spider lift walks through a doorway on tracks and sets outriggers on a protected floor.

When a big boom is the wrong call

Churches, gyms, lobbies, and atriums often have a finished floor, a narrow door, and a ceiling high enough to need a lift. A 60 ft diesel boom will not fit, and it should not be driven across that floor. A spider or a towable is the conversation to start.

Towable booms still need a place to set up and a vehicle rated to pull them. Spider lifts need a path for the tracks and a plan for outrigger pads. Tell us the door width, the floor finish, and whether there is a loading dock.

What we will not guess

We did not find a sourced published rate for towable or spider lifts in the 22 October 2026 research. We also will not invent basket capacities or ground-pressure numbers. The rental company matches the model to the floor and the height.
