System scaffolding
System scaffold is the ring-and-ledger or cup-style product plants use when a frame bay will not follow the steel. Outages, boilers, pipe racks, and vessels are the usual reason to ask for it.
What a useful request includes
A system-scaffold request without drawings is a phone call, not a quote. Share the elevation, the load the planks have to carry, whether the scaffold is hung or built from the ground, and the outage window. If you only need a stair for inspectors, ask for a stair tower instead of a full birdcage.
We do not design scaffold and we do not stamp drawings. The company that rents and erects it owns that scope. Our job is to put the request in front of a scaffold desk that actually does this work.
