Stair towers

A stair tower is how people get up and down without climbing the frames they are working from. Construction sites and turnarounds both ask for them.

Size the access, not just the work deck

Say how many people need to move at shift change, how high the top landing is, and whether tools or a stretcher have to pass. A single ladder bay is not a stair tower. If the tower also has to carry a work deck, say that too so it is not priced as access only.

We did not find a sourced published stair-tower rate in the 22 October 2026 research. Erect and dismantle labor often costs more than the components on a short outage. Put the dates in the request.
